The Ridgewood Little Athletics Centre present a range of Centre Trophy’s at the end of each season.
To be eligible for any Ridgewood Little Athletics Centre End of Season Awards, Athletes must have competed at more than 60% of Centre Meets and must have competed at least twice after the Christmas Break.
Parents must also meet the minimum Roster requirements as set out in our Centre Roster Policy.
The Ridgewood LAC Committee will consider exemptions from the above Criteria for Injuries, if supported by a Medical Certificate.  Proof of any Athlete exemptions must be provided to us by the deadline outlined by the Committee prior to Centre Championships.
Ridgewood Age Group Champion
Athletes are awarded Points based on their Performance in every Event that they compete in, up to but not including Championship Day. These Points are added together and the Athlete with the highest Points in each Age Group for Boys and Girls, will be awarded the Age Champion Trophy and the second highest will be awarded the Runner-up Trophy.
Ridgewood Most Improved Athlete
Athletes receive recognition for achieving their personal PB’s in all Events. Athletes must have a minimum of 15 PB’s to qualify.  The Athlete with the most PB’s in their Age Group will be awarded with the Most Improved Trophy.  In the event of a tie, the tie will be broken and the trophy awarded to the athlete who achieves the most PBs per eligible competition day that they participated in throughout the season.
Note:  The Smith-Bossert Challenge – held at the WA Athletics Stadium – is not an eligible competition day for the purpose of achieving eligible PBs for the Most Improved Trophy.
